Yes, it's true... I am actually hoping for rain. Mainly because I don't want to pay for the water bill if I use the sprinkler! But I'm so anxious to get another bud burst going. Another one of the Tigers began to bloom today and it won't be long before all will be blooming at once. I just love that! The whole one side of my porch (about 6' x 5') will be bursting with them.
What I like best is that heralds the begining of my Fire Lily. She too, is a hybrid with deep, brick red flowers with vivid yellow and black centers. They are also the largest of my day lily blooms, almost the size of the Black Magic.
Well... it's nearly 1 a.m. and I should try to get some sleep. Tomorrow is kind of a scary day... tests to determine if there are health issues. Even if I wasn't normally up to all hours... I know I'll be up for most of the night.
I'm sure it won't be anything but better safe than sorry. So all in all, it's just another sleepless night at my house!
