Yeah... I laughed when, she said, "We'll start with 8 ounces and work up from there." I'm thinking, "Cripes! Eight ounces? How stupid is that?!"
Fifteen repetitions later, I'm sweating, burning and feeling sick to my stomach! It's amazing how just a few ounces affect the ability to move the rotator cuff of an injured shoulder! I was really glad I hadn't voiced my disdain over a "mere half a pound" out loud.
Cripes.
So I'm doing my home exercises three to four times a day. And hopefully I'll go up to 16 oz. on my next visit. Of course... I suppose I could live with only eight if I had too! HA!

aren't you used to 16 oz curls from your practice at the taverns
Tavern curls are generally 12oz... Consequently, love for Southern Comfort kept you in the 1oz curls category. Does that officially make you a "light weight'???
