What is lovely never dies....

... it merely becomes another loveliness...

I know you are now happily with Uncle Leo,

Tommy and Mary Lou...

...but I'll miss you still.

You just shake your head and sigh....

I'm telling ya' it was paradise... the temps warmed to the 70's... the snow had melted... it rained but then got sunny again... the grass turned green... the trees were budding... my irises and lilies are poking out nearly four or five inches out of the ground.... then tonight we got a thunderstorm. We got wind and lightning, crashing thunder... why? Because of the cold air that moved in. A lot of cold air... banging the shutters on the house with the winds.
The forecast? Temps overnight in the 30's with a chance of snow later tonight and into tomorrow. Followed by wet-cold-rainy-snow-showers-likely for the next four-days!
Now you know why I consider this the...
Not-So-Great-White-North!
And tomorrow's prom for my youngest niece.
She's thrilled.

Even I can't believe it!

Only here in the Not-So-Great-White-North could weather be so freaky. Yesterday we got two inches of snow that fell from the sky in flakes the size of silver dollars... a few hours later? Pouring rain, gale force winds that then turned to hail and froze the rain in a treacherous coating.

During the night, it warmed up. Then... more rain... then freezing rain... now? Back to big white fluffy snow. Nearly two inches of it thus far... with a shot at 6 inches by morning.

Cripes.
